Advisory Board

Leader has recruited an outstanding team of venture investors to serve on its Management Board of Advisors. The Board of Advisors assists Leader in discerning market trends, establishing investment strategy, building a strong venture network and identifying specific venture lending opportunities. The Management Board of Advisors consists of:

Charles Beeler
Mr. Beeler is a General Partner at El Dorado Ventures, focusing on investments in the software and communications sectors. He previously was one of three investment managers at Piper Jaffray Ventures, and started his venture career at Scripps Ventures. Mr. Beeler received an M.B.A. in entrepreneurial studies from the Wharton School, and a B.A. in economics from Colby College.

Leigh Michl
Mr. Michl is a Partner with Advent International and has 17 years of venture capital and private equity experience. Previously, he was a founder and managing director of Ascent Venture Partners and a general partner of Ascent's predecessor, Pioneer Capital Corporation, both located in Boston. Mr. Michl holds a BA degree in economics from Bates College and an MS in finance from Boston College.

Peter Moran
Mr. Moran is a General Partner with Doll Capital Management. As a twenty year veteran of the semiconductor industry, he anchors DCM's investments into semiconductor and component companies. Mr. Moran received his BSME and MSME degrees from Stanford University. He also earned an MSEE from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Leaders For Manufacturing Fellow, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Fred Wang
Mr. Wang is a General Partner at Trinity Ventures, focusing on investments in enterprise systems and communications. Prior to joining Trinity in 1999, he was a Partner at Spectrum Equity Investors, making investments in next generation communications companies. Previously, Mr. Wang held senior management positions at The Boston Consulting Group; at Pacific Bell; and at Intuit. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
